According to statistics, imports of chemical products in Vietnam in July 2010 reached 167.23 million, down slightly from 0.93% in June 2010, but up 14.81% compared to July 2009. Bringing the total import volume of chemical products seven months in 2010 to 1.097 billion USD, accounting for 2.4% of total import value of goods nationwide, up 34.68% over the same period in 2009.

Market imports of chemical products in Vietnam led by China. In July 2010 reached 34.98 million, up 17.96% compared to June 2010, increasing 20.65% compared to July 2009. Total 7 months in 2010, imports from China reached 214.81 million, accounting for 19.56% of total import value of this item, up 35.26% compared to 7 months of last year.

Then there is Taiwan, the market is imports of chemical products reached 20.79 million in July of 2010, down 11% from the previous month but up 21.92% compared to July 2009. Total value of goods imported from Taiwan during 7 months in 2010 reached 150.07 million, accounting for 13.67% of total import value, up 33.74% over the same period last year.

Japan ranks third, with a turnover in July 2010 reached 20.06 million, down 21.40% from the previous month, rising 36.66% compared to July 2009. Total 7 months in 2010, imports of chemical products from this market reached 121.72 million, accounting for 11.09% of total import value, up 64.51% compared to 7 months of last year.

In the seven months of 2010, some markets have positive growth in turnover over the same period last year increased 450.57% Norway, Russia increased 188.57%, 143.63% increase of Finland. In contrast only two markets have negative growth in turnover was down 65.10% Saudi Arabia, New Zealand 16.21% reduction.
